Conference Audience Engagement with Vinyl Record Voting

The concept of using vinyl records for voting was born from the need to grab the attention of conference attendees and bring them back to a booth to initiate or continue discussions.  The final solution was educational, engaging and on theme – considering the conference was located in Nashville.

45’s (7″ vinyl records) were custom labeled to serve as calling cards and handed out through the conference, with the instruction to return to a designated booth to cast a vote and be entered in a drawing.  Voting consisted of attendees answering a question, a poll.  The results of voting were visual by way of the stacks of records corresponding to each answer.
